The Role

We are seeking an experienced and creative Public Relations Consultant to join our team. This is a key role where you'll be responsible for developing and executing media strategies, managing client relationships, and delivering high-quality communications that align with our clients’ business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns across multiple channels
  • Create compelling press releases, media kits, pitches, and content
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and stakeholders
  • Monitor media coverage and provide regular performance reports to clients
  • Advise clients on communications strategy, media handling, and crisis management
  • Coordinate events, interviews, and speaking engagements
  • Stay current with PR trends, media landscape, and best practices

About You

  • Proven experience in a public relations or communications role (agency or in-house)
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong media relations skills and a well-developed contact list is essential
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients under tight deadlines
  • Confident, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach
  • A strategic thinker with attention to detail and creative flair
  • Ability to speak Asante Twi is highly desirable
